Kitchen creativity brings me so much joy something anorexia has tried to steal from me. But I am determined to keep pushing through the noise until I am free.

I'm going to keep going until I can sit down and fully share these delicious meals with the people I love.

For me, preparing food is a meditation.
Food is my love language. 🤍

Because food is so much more than just fuel. It’s community.
It’s history, culture, and memory.
It’s the smell of a dish that transports you back in time.

I love everything about it.

🌱 Exploring local independents, picking fresh, seasonal ingredients, and growing our own.

📚 Learning the history, the culture, and the meaning behind every dish.

🌍 How a single aroma can make you feel at home, even from the other side of the world.

✨ The silence that fills the room when hunger is satisfied, and the smiles on my boy's faces as they tuck in.

Preparing and sharing food is the purest act of love.

One day, I’ll have a traveling table and cook for the world. And one day soon, I’ll be completely free of this disease and eating right alongside everyone else.

But for now, enjoy scrolling through these moments! 🥰 👆

All my love,
Katherine xx

P.S. Message me if you want any of the recipes! 📖✨

@ottolenghi Brown Butter eggs 10/10
Simple and delicious 👌

Sourdough, fresh garden Figs, mature cheddar, rosemary sea salt and local honey.

Pushed the boys out their comfort zone and now there's no going back.

All the pickles and fermented goods served as side salad.

Fresh prawns, courgette from the garden, lemmon and linguini pasta.

A ferm favourite with the boys.

Homemade blackberry ice cream and biscuit crumble.

Pickled gherkin rolls 🥒😜
Filled with cream cheese and fresh dill.

A happy accident 👌

Fennel & sausage pasta 🍝

Autumn salad hot potatoes with cool crisp apples a little bit of this and little bit of that all from the garden.

Wasn't sure how the boys would take it but they lived it.

Homemade fresh fig cheecake style jars.

Something we made along for @britishbakeoff

Inspires by @abbyischefing Kimchi Tunna melt 👌

From the rich milky tea poured to the classic biscuits on the side, it’s the little rituals that make a house feel like home, especially as spooky season starts and the scary movie nights start rolling in 🎃

🏃‍♂️ EASY RUN TODAY. READY TO PACE THE 1:45 GROUP ON SUNDAY! 🎯

Today was about getting another easy run in the legs and preparing for Sunday’s River Thames Half Marathon, where I’ll be pacing the 1:45 group.

💡 Easy runs are an important part of the process. They help to:

🟢Build and maintain aerobic endurance
🟢Keep the legs moving without unnecessary fatigue
🟢Support recovery between harder sessions
🟢Build confidence ahead of race day

As a pacer, the goal isn’t simply to hit a finish time. It’s about running consistently, maintaining a steady pace, and helping everyone in the group achieve their goal.

🎯 The target: 1:44 — securing a sub-1:45 finish.

The plan is simple: start controlled, stay consistent, and bring the group across the finish line feeling strong and proud.

🥤 DON’T FORGET POST-RUN RECOVERY!

Recovery is part of the training, too. A little help with creatine from @myprotein, a cheeky @mcvitiesofficial Jaffa Cake 🍰, and then it’s time to prepare a nutritious meal to refuel and recover. @challengeroth Bottle that brings amazing race memories for the past 2years😍

Easy miles today. Race-day focus on Sunday.

YOUR GOAL. OUR PACE. LET’S GET IT DONE! 🏁

Who’s joining my 1:45 group on Sunday? 🙌
