“In brightest day, in darkest night,
I’ll embrace my fear.
I’ll do what’s right.
I choose this ring.
I choose this fight,
In service to this Lantern’s light.” 💚💍

Lanterns S1 brings a darker, more grounded side of the DCU, blending mystery, cosmic mythology, and character-driven storytelling. John Stewart’s journey gives the season its emotional core, while Hal Jordan adds the experience and complexity of a veteran Lantern. 🌌🟢

A powerful beginning for John Stewart — learning that being a Lantern isn’t about having no fear, but having the courage to face it. 💚🔥

Once a cunning, charismatic Asgardian (by adoption) defined by shape-shifting, illusions, and endless schemes, Loki’s journey through the TVA and the multiverse transformed him. The variant who escaped with the Tesseract confronted the truth of the Sacred Timeline, faced He Who Remains, and ultimately chose to sacrifice his freedom. In the end, he sits alone at the End of Time, weaving and holding the branching timelines together so the multiverse can survive. No longer just Thor’s jealous brother or a charming anti-hero, Loki has become the quiet guardian of all realities—a lonely god who loads the stories of everyone else.

DC is a dark and intense crime drama that gives Lokesh Kanagaraj a completely different role as an actor. The story mixes love, violence, revenge and betrayal, creating a gritty world where every character has something to lose. Lokesh’s performance as Devadas stands out, especially in the film’s more emotional and intense moments.

Arun Matheswaran keeps the movie raw and stylish, with strong visuals, brutal action and a tense atmosphere throughout. The film takes its time building the characters before delivering its heavier moments, making the journey feel more personal than a typical action movie. Overall, DC feels like a bold and refreshing addition to Tamil cinema, with Lokesh proving that he can make an impact in front of the camera too.
