How do you summarize a weekend that is life-changing? It’s hard to believe everyone in this group met for the first time in October 2024. I remember sitting together in Empsall hall on campus and wondering what I was getting myself into. I was weeks away from turning 50 so I was thinking: was this the right choice for the Fall season (50-75) of my life? I truly hoped so. Fast-forward to this past weekend, when we gathered together again for our FINAL doctoral immersive weekend. My classmates traveled from near and far: Puerto Rico, Ohio, even Thailand! And SO much has happened in our lives since we started the program: job changes, illnesses, family issues, promotions, injuries, you name it. But we stuck together! And now, in six months, we will cross the stage together and have “Dr.” in front of our names. This is what it looks like to take a chance on yourself. To not get to a “big age” and think: “there is nothing left for me to do.” There is ALWAYS something left for you to do. You just have to DECIDE, and get moving. The next six months will be spent conducting my research and completing my dissertation. So if you don’t see me out and about like you have been, you know why! But isn’t winter the perfect time to hunker down and get it done? 😉

Dios bendiga siempre. Volvemos más fuertes que nunca. 💇🏻‍♀️💇‍♂️ 📍4ta Sección Villa Del Rey 4G14 Caguas PR 📱7873079026 📅 Martes a Sábado por cita previa Instagram @vibrasaloncaguas Facebook: Vibra AltaPeluqueria Facebook FANpage: Vibra Salon & AltaPeluqueria Tiktok: @estilista_hector WhatsApp Bussiness: 7873079026 #vibrasalonaltapeluqueria #vibrasaloncaguas #estilistahector
