#studioshots of #ashholmes @ashholmesart in front of her “Vessels” 2026, painting, via @mdampney .Ash paints large gestural abstractions in oil and acrylic. She often uses a muted green blush, cream or ochre palette, broken by hard-edged black voids that read like torn landscapes. She was a finalist in the @mosmanart Prize, @gallerylanecove Lloyd Rees Emerging Artist award, and the Premio @combat_prize . Ash shows with @gallerichristofferegelund @circlecontemporarygallery , and her solo “Vessels” exhibition opens at the @hake.house in #sydney on October 9, 2026.

In the studio as of late, very much enjoying working on pieces for my upcoming solo exhibition in October at @hake.house - I’m also on the lookout for an artist in residence program if anyone has any suggestion please let me know ♡

Last week I sent some pieces to Copenhagen, to be shown at @gallerichristofferegelund along with 6 small woodblock prints on paper.
