This mix is a shortened version of the 3h mix I played at @lapente_lyon , a great concert bar in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon.
I was invited by Bleu Zimiel a non binary photographer that i actually met at a DJing introduction class. They do pictures captivating the purity of life through everyday lens but also with a political intention. Go check their work on IG @bleuzimiel
I love playing for different events, playing with the mood and extending the type of music.
Here we go smoothly from a smooth jazzy vibe, afro sonorities from the soul to an energetic awakening, warm and comforting break.
I imagine listening to this set in the morning when you wake up, or late at nigh, or you know the moment when you’re supposed to go out but you still a lil tired and you need to softly reclaim your energy. Yeah, exactly.

The cover is form one of my favorite artists, Mdangelo @m_dangeloo on IG. is a multi-purpose queen. She’s soooo cool, She graphs, paints, bu also tattoos. Her art is a praise to feminity and I’m so down for it.
