I had the best time at the @lbsubeachvb camp today! A special thanks to all coaches + players for all of the feedback (and great tosses)! It was great improving on darting and having my hips facing forward. GO BEACH 🦈

Why Coaches Watch What You Do When You're NOT Playing

Coaches aren't only watching how you play. They're watching what you do when you're on the bench.
Long Beach State coach Alex Mike Campbell on the "little things" that quietly separate recruits:
• Are you cheering while your teammates ref and play?
• Are you bringing them snacks, lunch, hydration?
• Are you doing the stuff that feels too trivial to matter?
"It seems like maybe a parent would do that. But that shows thoughtfulness. That shows you want your teammates to succeed — not hoping for their failure."
His line every recruit should tattoo on their brain: inaction can be misinterpreted. Action cannot.
Talent gets noticed. Character gets remembered.
