Leonis Works presents Metaxy

An immersive dance performance, with music mixed live by Berghain resident Norman Nodge.

Inspired by Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy, Metaxy follows a human journeying through the Apollonian world of order and ambition, and the Dionysian world of chaos and desire. As each force pulls the human towards its extremes, the search for balance becomes a struggle within.

Dance, electronic music, light and projections transform the spaces, Haus 12/13 in Atelier Gardens, with a hand-built sound system by DAHLEDOHR. An accompanying exhibition will bring together works by local artists, inviting audiences to explore before and after the performances. Participating artists will be announced soon.

ARTIST HIGHLIGHT 💫 “Last Space” by Frantics Dance Company performed at Platform 14 – 7th Edition Alumni night

Last Space delves into the performers’ most personal stories, unfolding through a constant flow of events and fleeting moments that merge almost like in a dream. The work’s fragility and delicacy left space for each audience member to experience and interpret it in their own way.

Frantics is a contemporary dance-theatre company with roots in urban dance and the breaking scene. Moving beyond battles and stepping into the theatrical space has expanded the company’s artistic freedom and creative expression.

We are currently on tour with our piece “Nothing Happens.” Italy, we are coming.

We feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to travel, share our work, and continue building our artistic path across borders. What once was a vision is now unfolding on stage, and we look forward to connecting with new audiences and spaces along the way.

We cannot wait to share this work with you and to all the performances still ahead.
