It’s almost impossible to put into words what I’m feeling right now, but after everything I gave to get back on the field, hearing that pop again completely broke my heart. Being forced right back to square one after endless rehab feels overwhelmingly unfair, and I am angry, exhausted, and devastated that I don’t get to finish this season alongside my brothers. Still, I am deeply grateful to my coaches, friends, and teammates because the bonds we built mean everything, and no injury can ever take that away. I wish I could say I’m okay, but I’m not, and having this chapter end like this hurts in a way I can barely describe. However, this isn’t where my story ends, I’ve fought my way back before, and somehow I will find the strength to do it again. This broke my heart, but it won’t break me. God has his plan, I will be back.
