Imagine a little actor getting to dance their heart out?!?! (part 3)
So glad Meghan was my freshman advisor three years ago and slipped in a dance co plug. Dance has healed my heart in ways I can’t describe, so I’ll stop trying.
Just know that I’m so incredibly thankful for the opportunity I’ve had to dance at Westminster and to all the beautiful people I shared this space with 💜 now look at the pretty pictures @tayah.taylorphotography took !

When we last saw Acacia Duncan she was creating and directing AVLT’s “Wild Strawberries”, and we are so lucky that Meghan Durham Wall agreed to come back to Columbus and lend us her dance talents to re-stage John Cage 101 . Meghan currently teaches at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, and has previously held faculty positions at OSU, Princeton, Temple University, and University of Utah.

If there was a rule about music in place, John Cage found a way to break or at least tease it, posing fundamental questions about the relationships between art and “real life.”
AVLT celebrates the Cage era with a theatrical mixtape – just think of it as 38 Short Plays About John Cage – reflecting the renegade life and controversial ideas of the 20th century’s most influential experimental composer.
