Found heaven on accident

(Side note to self: find people who say, “you should write a poem about this.”)

Love notes for May 💌 : set yourself free.

Get outside. Spend time with dogs. Receive it as a gift from the universe when, by some strange miracle, the service guy at the car dealership wants to go out of his way to support you.

Hold your head high when your ghosts resurface.

Cry during action movies. Lose yourself in Sudoku. Remember your worth, and lay your cards on the table. No time for regrets when you’re too focused on learning lessons.

Miss your dad.

Be proud of your story and all of the things you learned along the way. You have endured so much.

Have compassion and grace as you find that not everyone can meet you where you are. It’s not personal.

You never know what’s just around the corner. Take it all in. You can handle whatever life may bring.

As you learn to surrender to the wild ways of the universe, it’s very important that you refuse to sit in the passenger seat of your own life. Take back the wheel.

Scarcity is a lie. Your love is infinite, and your perspective is a gift.

Whatever is for you is also looking for you.

Place your hand on your bare chest. Inhale, exhale. I’ve got you, baby.
