𓆰 ɪɴᴛʀᴏᴅᴜᴄɪɴɢ 𝑀é𝒶𝒷𝒽 𝑀𝓊𝓁𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒶𝓃 & 𝐸𝓋𝒶 𝒞𝒶𝓇𝓇𝑜𝓁𝓁 𓆰 Méabh Mulligan and Eva Carroll are two singing concertina players hailing from East Clare and Dublin. They both come from musical families, Eva being the daughter of singers Brian O’Rourke and Paula Carroll, while Méabh’s family run the Cobblestone pub in Smithfield, Dublin, where the two girls play on a regular basis. Together, they sing in both English and Irish with concertina accompaniment, as well as playing straight tunes! Both have been guests at the Night that Larry Got Stretched singing session in the Cobblestone, while together they have played around Ireland at Electric Picnic, Beyond the Pale, the Five Lamps Arts Festival , the recent Oíche Airneán series , as well as performing at President Catherine Connolly’s campaign launch. They have done support slots for Macdara Yeates, 49th and Main, as well as Ispíní na hÉireann during the Templebar Tradfest. They have also played further afield at Button Boxes and Moothies in Aberdeen as well as at the World Expo 2025 in Japan. They met in the Piper’s Corner when Eva moved to Dublin. It was Méabh who dragged Eva out of her musical shell and they have been playing together ever since!  Recorded at Airneán, many thanks for the footage - @raidiorira ᴛɪᴄᴋᴇᴛꜱ ᴀᴠᴀɪʟᴀʙʟᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ᴛʜᴇ ʟɪɴᴋ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʙɪᴏ

I am still wrapping my head around The Fabric of Us II. It was more than I could ever have imagined. This was one of the most incredible experiences. Thank you to @wabi_sabi.collections for curating such a stellar show and experience, and for providing a platform for so many talented women. To share the runway with @ceangalll @celticfusiondesign @hollymorrisseytextiles @pearlreddington and @sperrindesign was such an honour. It was a day that I will treasure forever and ever. @dublin_ifw creates such a welcoming atmosphere and I felt so embraced and empowered by everyone. The entire team was such a joy to work with I feel so lucky to have met so many talented and kind people. @eyumpriscilla was the hostess with the mostess and she really sprinkled a bit of magic across the entire day. @meabhmulligan @rutmccrohan @libeemacrawhan brought the runway and all of our designs to life with their amazing music. Being dressed for the show by my best friend @saorstudios made the day all the more unforgettable. Thank you to @chloeaillud for capturing the essence of the day so well. Not to mention I couldn’t have done this without the unbelievable models that walked for me, @jeffrinjerome @artbyjroiz @sc0ttgaffney @kiki.henrys and @se7s_sa3dawy you were superstars. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to everyone involved. I feel so lucky to have been a part of something more than just a fashion show. The Fabric of Us II will always have a special place in my heart Hair Team: @infurnobeauty and @ogochuksstyles Makeup Team: @makeupbyhollyroche @lorrainedolan_makeupartist and @bysophiecagney Photos: @chloeaillud

Tá an ceol ag teacht! 🎻☘️ Meet Méabh Mulligan, Libby & Ruth McCrohan — three members of The Len Collective, joining us for The Fabric of Us II. Dublin-born and Dublin-bred, they’ve shared a musical journey from a young age, rooted in a love of Irish traditional music, song and culture. From Dublin to stages across Ireland and around the world, their music carries the spirit of Irish tradition while bringing a fresh and energetic sound. For The Fabric of Us II, they’ll bring ceol agus amhráin to the runway as we celebrate oidhreacht agus cruthaitheacht — heritage and creativity. Fáilte, Méabh, Libby & Ruth! 🤍 📸 @claireloughshots #TheFabricOfUsII #DIFW #IrishTrad #IrishMusic #IrishHeritage
