It's been a bit of an eventful weekend. After weeks of decorating, we finally put back our radiators. Everything seemed ok, right up to the time I switched off the heating after testing the newly replaced radiators. That's when I heard an almighty woosh of air coming from the hall radiator. After that the boiler wouldn't fill, I started to fear the worst. After calling out a plumber, he confirmed my fears, we have a leak. Unfortunately, we also have no access hatch and newly laid floor. This means, until we do we have no hot water. So that more miserable expression on my face is due to the icy shower I had 10 minutes previously...😳🥶🚿

Monday's Selection. I woke up this morning remembering the things I used to get up to as a kid. To be honest I'm not sure how I managed to get to my teens with just a fractured wrist! That injury I got from a friendly game of football. I used to climb trees, dangle from walls and spurred on by some ne'er-do-wells, climb onto the roof of my primary school's. That last exploit landed my in the back of a police car! That was the point when I would decide to not talked into doing things against my better judgement.
