blue fire doom, the new LP by Sloome is out today!! this is a rock record packed with big guitars that highlight G Curtis Walls’ knack for songwriting. When i tell y’all that this one’s been a long time coming, it’s an understatement. Curt and the gang balance between songs akin to modern shoegaze bands like Full Body 2 and then more classic indie rock like The Strokes. This is also the first studio record from the band—recorded at @_the_atomic_garden_ with Jack Shirley. Sloome is a band straight outta Modesto, CA with members from Welcome Strawberry and Paper Space.

The record is available digitally and on vinyl.

blue fire doom by sloooooome is out today. love playing in this band and love this big freaking loud ass rock and roll album that we made together.

record of firsts: first time all five of us are on a sloome release and the first time we've ever made a record live just playing together in a room. was such a dream to jam for two days at @_the_atomic_garden_ thanks to jack for helping us realize the vision once again, truly the man.

thanks to curtis and cyrus and gaius and max for surrounding me with such unbelievable talent and being the best band bros a bass player could ask for. tremendous, undying love for my sloomie boys forever.

sincere thanks to everyone who listens to and appreciates the art I get the privilege to make with my friends and family. such a blessed life.

stream it now on whatever evil platform u listen to music on. listen for curtis. listen for gaius. listen for cyrus and max and jack shirley and all the work they put into this.

also hit us up if u want vinyl

some pics @mrstevenlira took of us / me. look how hot my freaking band is, lookers all

Today, my band finally released our album, Deathlike. In many ways, this was a passion project that my friends and I put a lot of ourselves into. It took many years, but I can finally say that the album I've always dreamed of making is a reality. If we never make anything else, I'd still be proud knowing that I have this record to look back on and that we saw the project through. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through the years and believed in the dream.

For some reason Meta believes that the album art is AI(lol) so I have included some bts photos(though I didn't take many) to prove that the art is indeed real and not AI and that I did in fact make it with my own 2 hands.

Also, heres a couple of band pics taken by @nataliepetersen that are some of my favs 😎

The link to the bandcamp is in my bio! The album is also on all music platforms 🔥
