I really did ask myself "How did I get here?"

Seeing David Byrne in San Francisco last week was so incredible, I'm still in awe 😍

2023 was a damn fever dream, let me tell ya.
Equal parts fun and intense, it was easily one of the most gratifying/crazy years I’ve had.
Got better at taking selfies and have come into my own more than I thought I could, which feels good.
Connected with new and old friends around the country and it warms my heart. Had lots of family time and damn do I love being an uncle.
Needed to clear the brain and wanted to write out some defining moments of 2023 so here’s a list:

-opened the year up at Jesters for the NYE party of a lifetime
-threw @synthesis__mt nights throughout the year, and played snowschool around MT, very happy with that
-went to NYC for my first time and got to hangout with some dear homies; New York City rips
-had lots of out of state pals come through MT to see the digs and it made me real happy
-got to go on my first tour for music and witnessed real life aliens eating corn dogs in a town pump parking lot, love that band and that crew
-discovered my love for Nut Rolls, especially the churro version
-bought a big dumb v helpful truck
-worked hard and built a big ass wall unit with lover/copilot @kallierane for @hootowlvintage for the hot new @margies_vintage . Super stoked on Margie’s and crew there.
-celebrated dear Abby and Adam’s beautiful wedding
-saw my musical hero Bon Bon
-watched the Iron Front go up in flames and see all my hard work melt away in 4 hours
-got burnt out and started questioning life decisions
-took vacation and spent time with family, that helped
-released Distance EP
-decided to build another big rack setup at @goldengirlsantiques for our booth there, v proud of that one.
-helped friends with business things and want to do that more
-threw another synthesis that I didn’t play snowschool at and it ripped
-celebrated turkey day with the fam/danced my booty off to Hard Hugs
-got covid and have felt terrible for multiple weeks now
-celebrated dear Shea and dear potato opening: that place definitely rips.

And lots of other stuff that I couldn’t fit in.
So thanks for reading my novel on 2023: conclusion comments 👇🏻
