Throwback Thursday. I've owned a few @barbour and @barbourinternational pieces. It's the build and fit that always brings me back to this brand. I've still to get my hands on their classic Bedale and Beaufort jackets, so watch this space. @barbour Transport Jacket Light Moss @barbourinternational Duke Waxed Field Jacket @barbourjapan White Label Westmoreland Gilet @barbour Waxed Cotton Transport Jacket @barbour Ashby in Moss Waxed Cotton

Proper Picks for September is here, and it’s all about the transitional period we currently find ourselves in. It isn’t unusual to step out of the house in a pair of shorts and a down jacket at this time of year – bottom half dressed for the Bahamas, the top prepared for Ben Nevis. With that in mind, September’s edition of Proper Picks is chaotic in the best kind of way. We’ve got jackets and sunglasses. Fleeces and shorts. Down insulation and lightweight cotton. Much like the weather itself, there’s no real rhyme or reason to it – just a collection of things that we’d very much like to own. Find the full feature at propermag.com

Inspired entirely by an archive jacket from 1993, Left Hand & Meanforme have partnered to release the Saragozza. The silhouette takes its name from the Bologna district synonymous with the birthplace of Massimo Osti and Left Hand. Referencing the raw-cut fringe of a the archive Left Hand Micro jacket, the shoe is handcrafted in Northern Portugal from Tuscan Leather, and finished with a 5mm natural Malaysian latex crepe sole. Traditional Bologna construction has also been used, further paying homage to Osti’s birthplace. The shoe is set to release in limited numbers on 23/08/26, 20:00 GMT.
