Prague has always had its alchemists. On Saturday 7 November, ours open the one subject most of us keep locked away: dying, and the people who have already left us. ✨

Dušičky at Ankali closes our first cycle. We begin in the garden, with fire and food. In Pluto, two talks: one on cemeteries and their architecture, one from a therapist on living with mortality. Then a performance leads us into the night, and we dance across Ankali, Planeta Za and Pluto, celebrating the life we have here and now, among our people. Therapists and psycare will be with us until morning.

The whole night is held by the power of the newly discovered element Edennium. One cycle ends so a new one can be born. 🌀

Dřevjeno: Dušičky

After a wild summer of inventing New worlds, we’re devoting Dřevjeno’s last community gathering of the year to how worlds end, our own included.

Billionaires in California (and elsewhere) are paying to abolish death. We’d rather learn to live with it, and many hands make it lighter.

Dřevjeno’s last community gathering of the year starts in the afternoon by the fire in the garden, with two talks in Pluto: cemeteries and architecture by @hrabechrabec , followed by living with ones mortality and the rituals around it by Gabriela Doubek.

In the evening a performance leads us down into Ankali, and we dance off the weight until morning. The music runs from hypnotic, deep techno in the dark of Ankali through more upbeat grooves in Planeta Za to the dreamy, contemplative worlds of ambient in Pluto.

The night closes our first Edenist cycle; then we hibernate. Back in spring. It’s worked for bears so far.

Food, drinks, warmth and talks. Dancing till the morning. Lights and atmo.

There is a clearing in a forest, about an hour from Prague, that for four days every year becomes something else entirely.

Not a venue. Not a line-up. A Temporary Autonomous Dreamzone, where the boundary between participant and creator dissolves, where sound becomes ceremony, where the fire at the centre is not decoration but the oldest technology we have for being together.

This year the theme is invention. Not as a technical act, but as a way of being. The discovery of Edennium, that unstable, luminous, stubbornly unclassifiable element essential to social cohesion, continues. The Forest Laboratory is open. The great collective experiment of Renaissance 3.0 begins on Thursday at 4pm.

Model z kolekce: JIZVY NAD ZLATO

Švy oděvu jsou koncipovány jako metafora jizev vznikajících při opravě keramiky technikou Kintsugi. Jednotlivé spoje jsou zvýrazněny lemovacími zlatými proužky, které odkazují na zlaté linie spojující rozbité fragmenty keramiky. Drapování materiálu vytváří plastickou strukturu připomínající reliéf jizev a zdůrazňuje proces obnovy i transformaci poškozeného objektu.

Korzet je vytvořen z upcyklovaných tradičních čínských šatů qipao. Jejich využití odkazuje na počátky wabi-sabi a jeho filozofii , která se v Japonsku rozvinula jako reakce na okázalou, dokonalou estetiku čínského porcelánu oblíbeného mezi japonskou elitou během čajových obřadů. Wabi-sabi naopak přikládá hodnotu prostotě, pomíjivosti, opravě a nedokonalosti
