YES Exhibition 2022 artist roster 5/15: Izaäk Bink / @meat_raffle !

Izaäk Bink is a queer artist currently based in Ngunnawal/Canberra with a centre-focus on screen printing. Growing up and living in a unique city like Canberra, a city which is quite sheltered from a more vast queer scene, he draws inspiration directly from lived experiences within queer identity as a whole. Commenting on hookup culture, emulated masculinity and his personal feelings toward modern romance.

Swipe for the full list of artists! Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with us and see this artwork in person as well as so much more NOVEMBER 17th (opening night 6-9pm) - 20th at aMBUSH / @ambushgallery in Waterloo!

Event poster artwork by Patrick Krzywicki / @pat.kxyz and design layout by Bowen Halkett / @newobbowen !

It’s the last week to see VIEW2022, our exhibition showcasing some of the most exciting emerging and re-emerging artists working in the ACT and surrounds

Stop by the gallery, get out of the rain, cozy up to some fantastic art

Revealing the energy and spirit of south-eastern Australian contemporary photo-media, the featured artists explore themes including the interplay between media and the queer experience, our relationship to the nature world, and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic
