💛 MEXICAN RICE BOWL 💛

Summer dinners are just becoming incredibly hard to think of at this point.. bring on the autumn dinner rotations as they are my favourite. A simple rice bowl this is so quick and easy to do and you can change up the rice or chicken or salad bits and it’s a whole new meal. We’re currently on the hunt for some good sauces we try as many as we can round here and so far morissons is coming up best with the @meatlust buffalo sauce it’s such a good one 😍 #ricebowl #summerydinners #foodie

Ribs smoked on the @traegergrills.uk using @angusandoink Hook, Line & Sinker for 2 hours, then wrapped with butter and @meatlust BBQ Mop Sauce for another 2 hours.

St. Louis ribs from @farmfoodsukofficial and as you can see the meat just falls off the bone!

There's no better way to spend a cold January day!

Quick review of a couple Meat Lust sauces.
Gotta say though, the Green Sweet Chilli tastes pretty good.

We decided to make BBQ pulled beef today using both @meatlust BBQ sauce and @capeherbandspice Texan Spice Rub and it turned out bloody gorgeous! Topped with some jalapeños and some crispy onion all inside a crusty tiger roll 🤤

Some of what I eat in a day 🍕

Breakfast- cookies n cream breakfast cake. This was phenomenal if I do say so myself. Recovery has allowed me to try and make so many new fun things it’s amazing. This was my usual breakfast cake but added a crushed oreo to it and topped it with a cream cheese yogurt icing 🥄strawberries🍓blueberries🫐pomegranate seeds, frozen raspberries, @eat_surreal cookies n cream cereal and some frosted cereal, topped with white chocolate spread and another crushed oreo 🍪

Snack🍫 a slice of @finchbakery millionaires rocky road

Dinner 🌯a bbq chicken bacon pizza using the @prozis pizza base with lots of extra bbq sauce, mozzarella and a side of cucumber and sugar snaps🫛topped with rocket, coriander and some perinaise to dip

Dessert 🍮 random mix of things but had a feel good chocolate sponge some cold some heated up as I’m weird with vanilla protein pudding, custard, berries🍓🫐🍇 and salted caramel m&ms🧂🍯🍫

heres what I ate last week whilst working and still 0 appetite after nearly a month…😪🙄

Breakfast🧁looks gross and I promise I do not put this much cinnamon on usually clearly had slipped into old habits this day. But was my usual protein microwave oat cake which I haven’t had since before ip and it was so good and used the @prozis vanilla isolate which my stomach can tolerate well 🎉 stuffed with some @skippybranduk peanut butter🥜and topped with fruit🫐@eat_surreal frosted cereal🥄cinnamon trail mix, @sweetfreedomuk honeycomb syrup🍯and cinnamon ofc🤪

Was still mentally wanting something more so had a homemade @myvegan Speculoos protein cookie dough ball🍪

Lunch🍳🫑had this within 2 mins hiding in the staff room at work mid shift lol but was this reduced @lidlgb medditerran style vegetable frittata that was actually really nice, even better that it was like 80p. I like eggs in this form, and like when these pies have a crust as well so might experiment meal prepping some of these but know ill get the egg ice after 1 rip

Dinner🍕🍗🧀BBQ chicken and bacon ‘pizza’ (using an @aldiscotland protein flatbread with a @meatlust bbq sauce base) topped with mozzarella, sweetcorn and had some @nandosuk perinaise and salad on the side🥗

Dessert🍪🍮the new @marksandspencerfood cookie dough pie with cold @alpro custard (if you haven’t tried get to Tesco ASAP sm better than dairy custard imo!!!) blueberries and pomegranate seeds🫐

Taco Tuesday, had some pork leg so thought, let’s make some pulled pork taco.
Removed the skin and scoured the fat cap with Texas tickler from @thatrubguy and placed a @meaterofficial probe to monitor the cook. Set the @kamadojoeuk to indirect with a drip pan with water to help prevent drying out, used charcoal from @directcharcoal for the cook. Spritzed with @thatcherscider gold to keep it moist. Decided to wrap at 65°C with butter, thatchers gold and @meatlust bbq mop sauce. Cooked 95°C and checked with @thermapen one and probed nice and tender. Removed to rest and wrapped in blanket to keep warm whilst resting. Served simply with guacamole, sour cream and chive and tomato salsa on a soft taco with corn on the cob seasoned with butter and @spanglishasadero_official chili and limon.

Smoky BBQ summer-style meal prep with @meatlust BBQ Mop and our Flava It! Smoky BBQ seasoning mix 😋

Simply grab 4 chicken breasts, 1 small tin of sweet corn, coleslaw, a handful of miniature potatoes, and mixed salad 👌

The decision was either Tingly Ted’s extra hot chilli sauce or Meat Lust’s ghost chilli sauce on my black pudding breakfast sandwich. Couldn’t decide so used both.
