I still dunno how I feel about being brushed. Anyone else? I mean, sometimes I like it because all this fur gets itchy & it feels good but other times I wish my humans would just not.
Today it felt good.

Bobby doesn’t really like surprises. He gets too excited about whatever it is and would much rather just tell me so that I can be in on the fun. So usually, he leaves “not so subtle” hints until I figure it out.⁣
⁣
One year ago, he asked me to marry him.⁣
But just 3 hours earlier, he told me he was taking my car up the street to get gas, but he was gone for an hour (picking up the ring).⁣
2 hours before that, we were training together in the gym and the pandora station he chose was “Wedding Songs Radio.” ⁣
⁣
So yeah, I knew. He knew I knew. But we played along.⁣
⁣
There was one secret he was able to keep though that practically made my heart burst.⁣
⁣
When he pulled the ring out of his pocket, I realized it was unlike any of the cuts we had picked out together. I had only seen a diamond like this on one other person.⁣
⁣
“It’s like my moms.”⁣
“I know, your dad helped me pick it out.”⁣
⁣
(Yeah. I cried too).⁣
⁣
He lets his heart lead, so the entire day was unscripted, playful and spontaneous. But I’ll always cherish the intention and love put into that single moment when I look at this ring.⁣
⁣
Thank you for you, Bobby Logan.

So it’s been two weeks, and we have two more (at least) to go. How are you doing?⁣
⁣
We know that the closing of gyms brought on a lot of anxiety. This pandemic has disrupted routines and for a lot of people, their escape from stress. ⁣
While social media has become over saturated with in home workout videos, here’s our spin on it - GO OUTSIDE.⁣
We realize that some are truly quarantined and may not even have this luxury, but this applies for those who are healthy and able. As tough as this situation might be, we’re fortunate to have had a mild winter and the weather in Michigan has been amazing lately. ⁣
If you’ve been training in the gym for awhile now, this is the time to USE your fitness to function.⁣
Ps. You don’t need a farmers handle. Go fill up your suitcase and walk down to your mailbox and back. ⁣

And now, I can finally post these.⁣
⁣
For those that don’t know, Bobby and I have actually been married for 8 months now. We took the “can’t wait another day” thing seriously and went to the courthouse in June.⁣
⁣
The backstory: we found a house that we loved a week after getting engaged, and closed on it by the end of May. Then, Bobby unexpectedly brought our dog home two weeks later. ⁣
Everything moved faster than we anticipated, as we had no intention of finding the right house or getting a dog that early on. When we started dating, we agreed that we would not move in together until we were married. We wanted a relationship that was honorable and pleasing to God above all else. So, we decided to get married as soon as possible since we were already planning a destination ceremony regardless.⁣
I was in love with my best friend, and the timing of a few external factors gave me the push I needed to say yes to a courthouse wedding. ⁣
⁣
My mom took these pictures, and I love them just as much (if not more) than the ones of our ceremony in Costa Rica. It was a Wednesday, we worked half the morning, had only our parents present to witness.⁣
And it was so beautiful. ⁣
The photos are real. Full of undeniable love and overwhelming joy. ⁣
⁣
We wanted to wait to share this story and these photos so we could still experience the “magic” of a ceremony. And while it was incredible, I’m so glad we couldn’t wait another day to start our lives together.
