Not every trick shot ends in a win… and that’s part of the fun! 😂

The goal: Toss a gender reveal golf ball into the air, knock down TWO plates, then hit the golf ball before it hits the ground.

The result? One plate down, a near miss on the second, and somehow I still managed to hit the golf ball out of the air! 😂 I’ll call that a partial success… or maybe a failed trick shot with a pretty good consolation prize!

I usually give myself only 1 or 2 attempts at a trick shot. Unless I’m learning a new skill or working on something physical, I want the pressure to be real. That’s what makes it a trick shot! Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t. And if you only show the successes, you’re missing part of the story.

I came up short on this one, but it was still a blast! Till next time! 👊

Now it’s your turn: What trick shot should I try next? Drop your ideas in the comments! 👇

FASTER RELOADS START WITH CONSISTENCY!

Want smoother, more efficient reloads for competition? Whether it’s a slide-lock or speed reload, consistency is key!

Here are my tips for building better reloads:

* Orient the handg&n: Rotate the g&n so the bottom of the magazine well is oriented toward the magazines on your belt.
* Ensure a clean drop: Press the magazine release decisively to help the empty magazine drop smoothly.
* Find your magazine consistently: Use the same centerline sweep every time to locate your magazine on your belt.
* Build a repeatable grip: Place your index finger along the front spine of the magazine and capture the base in the palm of your hand.
* Keep your forearm relaxed: Draw the magazine from the pouch with your forearm in a straight, relaxed position, aligned toward the bottom of the magazine well.
* Match the angles: Focus on aligning the magazine and magazine well. You don’t need to look directly into the magwell when your movements and angles are consistent.
* Repetition is everything: Practice the same movements until they become smooth, efficient, and repeatable.

The secret isn’t just moving faster—it’s eliminating wasted movement and building consistency. Make the process repeatable, and speed will follow! 💪

“Phil Drill”??? Have you tried it? I’ve seen a few try this drill and to get back into the swing of p!stol after strictly scatterg&n, I had to give it a shot. However, I added a little body movement during the execution for more of a challenge. As much as I could in the short amount of time I had💃. But for full transparency you can see the hits and the phone playing the song. Let’s see your “Phil Drill”.
