I haven’t had a moment to do an end of year wrap up post but December was the cherry on top! I launched @badgrrlscc , grew my team, then 2 weeks ago, I was featured by @a16zclf & recognized by @time for my photography work.

A huge thanks to all the content creators that we met at #wmfny18... To name a few, @makejagger.it @jimmydiresta @iliketomakestuff @thepiworkshop @evanandkatelyn @bobbydukearts @joeltelling @backyardscientistofficial @crabsandscience @petersripol @jtwoodworks
We also want to give a special thanks to a kind person that supports the young maker community @reynopatrick .

It was our first @makerfaire and we couldn’t believe how welcoming and supportive the #maker community was. Can’t wait for our next Maker Faire.

See you next time

The people in the post office probably thought I was crazy rolling in 15 mins to close with a hand truck full of boxes of wood. Thanks for the help cleaning my shop!

New style push stick. Guitar series.
This one is modeled after a @st_vincent Guitar that my good friend @mecjagger of @makejagger.it posted. Swipe to see the photo of her rocking out. 🎸
Give @makejagger.it a follow to see this push stick in action soon!

“The Bench.” Reclaimed plywood, electric guitar. DIY pickup made from scraps, antique hinge to anchor strings, 3D geometric inlay. My entry for the @modernmakerpodcast #rocklerplywoodchallenge.
.
I’m so incredibly happy with how this turned out. It’s not perfect by a long shot, but it works, it looks great, and it’s about as DIY as a guitar can get!
.
There’s so many details to absorb, but what’s your favorite part?
