📌 SIZZLE N SAMBAR 🍴A La Carte Menu 🏷️ @sizzlensambar A feast of bold spices, comforting curries & all the Indian favourites we can’t get enough of🇮🇳🌶️ We ordered the following dishes: - 🥦 Gobi 65 - 🍗 Tandoori chicken - 🍆 Eggplant masala - 🐑 Lamb Rogan Josh - 🫘 Mini podi idli - 🫓 Ghee dosa - 🧄 Garlic naan - 🥭 Mango lassi Honestly, everything was packed full of flavour💣. The cauliflower was crispy, spicy & seriously moreish💫, while the tandoori chicken was juicy & smoky with a lovely char🔥. The eggplant masala was a standout💯, with soft eggplant in a rich, aromatic curry sauce🤤. The Rogan Josh came with a thick, tomatoey sauce🍅, warming spices & plenty of tender lamb. The mini podi idli were soft, bite-sized & coated in a flavourful spice mix, while the ghee dosa was golden & crispy💥. The garlic naan was fluffy & perfect for scooping up all that curry sauce🥘. 🌶️🍛 A TASTE OF SOUTH INDIA IN PERTH! 🇮🇳 Looking for your next family foodie adventure? Add Sizzle 'N' Sambar in East Victoria Park to your list! 😍 We recently enjoyed a delicious South Indian feast, and there were definitely some standout dishes! 🍽️ WHAT WE TRIED: 🥟 Aloo Samosa 🍗 Chicken Lollipop 🥞 Masala Dosa 🍛 Mutton Varutha Curry (Goat) 🍞 A mix of Naan Breads 🐟 Gramathu Meen Fish Kuzhambu 🍨 Pistachio Kulfi Our absolute favourite was the goat curry, and can we talk about that Masala Dosa?! 🤤 Hands down, the most delicious dosa I've had! And those Chicken Lollipops, a must! Now, I do love my food with a little kick! 🌶️🔥 but when you're sharing with the kids, sometimes mild is the way to go! 😉 (chicken lollipop and Goat curry were delicious and the spice I needed) And the Pistachio Kulfi? 💚 Absolutely loved it! Best part? I didn't have to share with ANYONE! A rare mum win! 😂 What really stood out was the wonderful hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming towards our children. Our youngest was a little grumbly after a big day at childcare, and the lovely staff even brought over some papadums to try and cheer him up! 🥹 ❤️ It's those thoughtful little gestures that make dining out with young children so much easier. NEW INDIAN SPOT IN WILLETTON!! 🇮🇳🍛 I think I've found my new favourite Indian restaurant in Perth!! 🥹 @mumbaisemarina Everything we tried was so full of flavour, with the seasoning just right! You could literally see all the herbs and spices in the curries, and nothing felt overpowering 🤌🏻 The cheese naan was easily my favourite vessel for scooping up all that curry goodness!! 🧀😭 And the benne dosa was a VERY close second. So buttery, crispy and lacy, and honestly such fun to eat! Our order: 🍗 Ghee Roasted Chicken 🐟 Pakori Fish 🍛 Chicken Karahi 🍖 Royal Lamb Korma 🧀 Cheese Naan 🍚 Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Biryani 🥞 Benne Dosa 🥭 Mango Lassi - perfect for my taste buds! Not too sweet or overly yoghurt-forward I genuinely enjoyed EVERY dish and can't even pick one to put at the bottom of my ranking 🥲 Each had such a different flavour profile too, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable! Juicy, tender chicken in a creamy, flavour-packed but mild sauce. Perfect if you don’t love spicy food! 🔥 Chicken Lollipops: DON’T SLEEP ON THESE! These were LITTY TITTY 🤌🏽 Juicy, tender with a little kick. 10/10 recommend! 🍚 Chicken Biryani: Super fresh, tender and juicy meat with a delicious spice kick. 🌶️ Kozhi Milagu: PACKED with flavour and definitely one for those who can handle the heat! 🔥 🥞 Plain Dosa: Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfection! 🥬 Palak Paneer: A delicious vegetarian option, fresh, flavourful and with the yummiest paneer. 🫓 Mixed Bread Basket: Fresh and cooked to perfection. 🥭 Mango Lassi: Absolutely divine and so refreshing! 🌹 Rose Milk: Sweet, refreshing and SO good. One of my favourites! 🍮 Rasmalai: Not really my vibe, but it wasn’t bad, just not my kind of dessert! Always on the hunt for a good Indian spot in Perth 🇮🇳🍛✨ We visited @mumbaisemarina in Willetton and honestly, the flavours were INSANE! 😍 From the crispy pani puri and spinach leaf chaat to the fish curry and spicy Hiryali chicken (my favourite!), everything was packed with flavour. And the potato and cheese naan?
