In June, I had the chance to be part of @springboarddanse, working with ten dancers through a week of process and exploration!

Miriam Gittens guided and coached the dancers through movement material from, “Dancing with Blackholes,” a project chuthis. and I are developing with @mediaartx , who are producing the experience🖤🕳️🖤

I’m grateful to @alexandrawells.dance for allowing me to continue researching the project in this space. Missing my time in Pittsburgh and this special cast🌊🩵🌊

🐋🎶 Step inside endangered ecosystems at the world premiere of Nature Sings: A Sonic Revival, a live, immersive performance of sound, light, and voice in the William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common.

On Oct. 29 and 30, dive underwater with humpback whales, swing through Borneo’s rainforests with orangutans, and soar alongside birds over southern India through a decade of field recordings, dynamic visuals, and live vocals.

On opening night, Oct. 29, @Ashley_Judd joins us to introduce the premiere and lead a live conversation with the artists and scientists behind the experience.

It's Pillow Lab Season! 🕺🥼🧪✨

We're celebrating 10 years of Pillow Labs this year, and we're so excited to announce our next cohort of artists! Each artist will participate in a residency on the Pillow's campus in Becket, and will be supported in the development, research, and technical stages of their respective choreographic projects.

All residencies in the 2026-27 series will include an informal, work-in-progress showing limited to an invited audience of Jacob’s Pillow Contributor+ Members, as well as faculty, staff, and students from the Pillow’s College Partnership Program, community members, and artists’ colleagues. These invited showings will also be livestreamed for all Member levels and other invited attendees who cannot attend in-person. For more information, visit the link in bio. 🔗

Up until this moment, I was sitting outside the circle, creating the live score guiding and reacting to the dancers at the center- As we reach the end (or the beginning ), @miriamgittens guides me across the event horizon into the black hole where we get lost and found in space.

April 18th, 4PM & 7PM , I’ll be live scoring and performing in a new work by @peterchuthis @mediaartx and myself titled “Dancing With Black Holes” - A Journey into the Threshold of the Cosmos Activated By Music and Dance.

“At the event horizon, the known world ends and a different kind of truth begins. Dancing with Black Holes is a descent into the threshold of the cosmos, where complex astrophysical data is rendered into a bone-deep human experience. Inspired by the behavior of light and matter emitted billions of years ago, the work explores a point of no return—a place where the laws of physics break down and kinesis takes over.”

This bold collaboration between ¡Oye! Group, Media Art Xploration (MAX), and Onassis ONX bridges the gap between humanity and technology, interweaving the past with the present through the use of generative AI.

¡Harken! Walks us through the life of mixed-race explorer, fur trader, and forger of new beginnings, Juan Rodriguez, as he works to amend his co-opted personal account. In 1613, Rodriguez arrived from Santa Domingo as a fur trader for the Dutch. Despite his fragmented and sometimes neglected historical narrative, Rodriguez remains an integral part of New York's past and present.”
