Jaden is someone I’ve known for quite a while and who’s first appearance in The Sereno Show was in Season 2, and I believe he’s made appearances in every subsequent season. But this time around, in Season 5, we finally get to see Jaden in the lead role: playing the sneaky Frenchman, the Spy. Jaden really came through, for the longest time I had no idea who would be playing the Spy but Jaden took the role and ran with it— truly I can think of no one else that could’ve done a better Spy. And not only was he in Meet the Spy, but he also reprised his role as the character in every subsequent TF2 film. For someone as busy as he is, that’s no small task! But it’s one I am so incredibly thankful for. Jaden and I met in our eGroup so long ago; I forget at what specific point in the group’s history did he start joining but I am so glad he did. Throughout the years he became one of my best friends and I am so thankful for the chance to say that. Jaden’s been there through thick and thin in my personal life, I’ve shared things with him I can’t say I’ve shared with many of my close friends. It was really a great gift that God gave me this great friend: one who was always there for me personally and one who kept coming back for me professionally in my films. For that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you, Jaden.

Five years ago (2018) I began a journey that would become a reflexive piece in the history of my filmmaking. We began adapting the #teamfortress2 Meet the Team videos into live action. And now, five years later (and with some changes & redos), every single #tf2 mercenary was been met. It’s incredible to see it. Not only are these videos testaments of love and dedication, but they’re also time capsules. You can see each actor grow and change over time. It’s incredible, truly. To everyone who’s been a part of the Team, thank you for letting us Meet you 🙏
