Last week saw the launch of @bcu_graphics degree show - This Way Up. Our designer Flossie went along to celebrate this year's cohort and support the two talented students she has been mentoring this year.

✨ @meg.doesdesign picked up TWO industry awards from @kingel_agency and @outsider_0121 - this girl is a hot commodity!

✨ @__akvisuals was nominated for several industry awards. Her work for this year's @this.is.keane brief was showstopping!

Watch out for these girls, they're going to take the world by storm 💪

It was a pleasure to see everybody's hard work being showcased. Well done class of 2025 - we can't wait to see you all fly 🎓

A fun time at the evervescent @duplicatepublishingfair this weekend with incredible table-neighbours and creators 🫶🏼

Thanks to everyone who popped by my silly stall, and to those who got a PIGEON PORTRAIT 🐦 did over 40 of them during the fair (lost count in the end!) Seeing the smiles and hearing the giggles is what it's all for! Times are SO tough but we need a cackle occasionally you know?

The past two weeks on placement at The Jointworks have been AMAZING!

It has been so beneficial to meet lots of creatives who are absolutely smashing it. Working alongside such awesome people in the group really boosted the inspiration and overall good vibes! A HUGE thank you to Luke for introducing us to everyone and for welcoming us during these two weeks.

Week 2 ✔️

Week 2 was just as special as the first, with highlights including @overlapsocial, the @bcu_graphics symposium and more exploring in the JQ & enjoying @thejointworks

This brilliant bunch of future leaders has been such a pleasure and privilege to hang out with 🧡 Don’t sleep on @ashaaa_p @br_artjournal @beth.rheanna @daisym.jpeg @ellieflodesign @meg.doesdesign 💥

Alongside 20+ visits and visitors they all also produced new personal bios, a visual manifesto, worked on @thejointworks & @bhamdsgnshop projects, made countless teas and scanned half of the JQ. What a total joy from start to finish 💐

People are already applying for the Jan 2026 edition… 👀

Week one of placement with Luke Tonge at The Jointworks is complete!

I am very lucky to be on Luke’s two-week placement alongside five other talented creatives. So far, it has been an incredibly beneficial and invaluable experience. Luke has been introducing us to lots of very cool and creative people which has been so interesting. This week has provided me with insights into the design world and the diverse career possibilities that follow my studies.
