Mýa and Beenie Man performing “Girls Dem Sugar” LIVE in Jamaica and listen to that crowd! 🇯🇲🔥 Word for word, they’re right there with them. And Mýa? Still looking absolutely beautiful while performing a record that hasn’t lost a step.

“Girls Dem Sugar” dropped back in 2000 and that R&B-meets-dancehall combination still feels just as good today. Beenie Man bringing that Jamaican energy with Mýa’s smooth vocals was a perfect combination. 😮‍💨🎶

Some records belong to an era. Others just keep traveling from generation to generation. This one still gets the same reaction every time it comes on. ❤️‍🔥

TWO YEARS IN DELAWARE! What? Like Benito says: Time passes so quickly. It isn’t worth holding on to resentment or giving your time to things or people that don’t deserve it. We can’t change yesterday, and none of us knows what tomorrow will bring.

What we can do is enjoy this moment and every second God and life give us. Make the most of it. Cherish it. Love desperately as much and as quickly as you can. As long as we’re alive, love will always be the best choice, no matter what’s happening in our lives.

Cherish the people who are here with you-the ones who love you for who you are.

What a way to launch something special. To every single person who came out, sang, danced, laughed and chose to spend the day with us — THANK YOU! 🙏🏾

A huge thank you to all of our vendors for showcasing your small businesses and sharing what you do with our R&B community. We appreciate you being a part of our very first year and helping make the experience special. ❤️

Special thank you to our hosts @nadjnjea for bringing the energy and keeping the vibes going all day! 🎤🔥

To our DJs @djtythefuture & @djkis_ thank you for setting the tone and giving us the soundtrack to an unforgettable day. 🎧🔥

And to @citilimitz_official & @shai90sofficial — thank you for blessing our stage and giving Delaware some REAL R&B! 🎶🙌🏾

Much love to the @delawarereggaecoalition and every single volunteer who consistently shows up for us and puts in the work behind the scenes.

And most importantly, thank you to YOU — our attendees. You could’ve been anywhere, but you chose to be with us. 🫶🏾

Year one is officially in the books. ❤️🎶🌳

The community asked, and we delivered.
