Super excited to share that Aidan Clara and I were asked to dance in @forkingandcountry 's new music video, "Ever & Ever"! A beautiful love song about lasting love that grows as you do! The song just came out!! Here are a few sneak peeks/BTS photos! 👀

A HUGE thank you to Charlie Chessman for her amazing choreography skills! 💜 Thank you!

The music video will be released close to Valentine's day! ❤️

Just celebrated 4 years married to the love of my life! Aidan Clara, I absolutely love being married to you (if you haven't noticed 😆).

Here are some things I have learned:

- Our brain is hardwired to seek out novel experiences, so do something new together often! It doesn't have to be expensive; it can be simple, like making a tent in the living room with sheets, or having an indoor snowball fight 🤣. Do new things together!

- Words are so powerful, so use them to build each other up. We can truly build new worlds or tear them down! Try to see your partner the way God sees them. Tell your spouse something you love about them every day. Seriously, every day! It makes a huge difference.

- Slow dance in the kitchen; it makes the soup taste better. 🍲

- To be known is to be loved! Never stop getting to know your person. Take time to learn what your spouse is passionate about and do that together. Let them share their passion with you, and try not to stifle their joy just because their interests may be different from yours (this one is hard for me). 😅 Try to find an element you can genuinely enjoy!

- Try to avoid saying, 'I don't have time,' as we all *make time* for what's most important to us. Instead, say, 'That isn't a priority right now,' and if that doesn't sound right, then maybe that's a sign you need to move some things around. As Gandalf said, 'All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.'

- Pray for your spouse, thank God for them, and encourage them in their personal walk with the Lord. Serve in ministry with them (if possible) and watch God water the seeds you plant together!

- Competitively forgive! so quickly you don't know who did it first! We are human, and we will make mistakes, occasionally hurt feelings, or have misunderstandings. Be quick to forgive! As Christians, we have been forgiven far too much to not also forgive!

- Be intentional in all you do! Make goals together, have mentors, and be held accountable so you can grow! While you grow, love your spouse for who they are in the midst of their 'becoming.' Love who they are more than who you wish they could be.

As you wish ❤️

We dressed up as characters from one of our favorite movies for the Renaissance Faire this year! We had an incredible time, and it was so fun to have so many people recognize us and ask for photos! These are my top three favorites. 😊

P.S. If you don't know what movie I'm talking about.... that's absolutely inconceivable!! 😆

Is a year of ABC dates over already?

I can now proudly say that I have completed my first ever scrapbook! Aidan and I compiled our ABC dates into a scrapbook to look through and I love it so much!! It is such a fun way to look back and remember how much fun we had, and how much closer we have grown together because of dating intentionally! 📖

I have started many scrapbook projects in my life, but never finished one! So this is a first! 😅 A great way to start off the near year- I feel unstoppable!

If you were looking for a sign to plan some fun dates with your spouse or significant other, here it is! Maybe consider getting alphabetical with your person! 😆

Happy New Year! God bless! ❤️

The best part of taking these photos was the people walking by cheering us on! 😆 Some people just came by to watch us frolick 🤣 We had a blast!

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” – Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

Currently halfway through reading Jane Eyre, so this quote by Emily Brontë seemed very fitting. Jane Eyre is an excellent read so far. 😊

A true romantic, in every sense of the word.

I had a truly magnificent time at the renaissance festival! 🏰 This was my first time dressing up and I loved it so much. It felt like walking into a fairytale. I loved seeing so many creative costumes, beautiful pottery, and lively musicians. ❤️ Can't wait to go again!!

This wonderful woman turns 21 today, she has been such a wonderful blessing to me for the past 3 years, such that I could not imagine the rest of my life without her. It has been such a joy experiencing life with her. Megan, I love you so much, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, and experience even more of life with you.

Again, all glory to Jesus! God has kept us busy traveling and preaching in evangelism. 10 days ago, God had us in Baltimore MD for the weekend with Bro & Mrs. Reisberg. I got to see one of our former teens Ryan Elder so proud of him and his military service. Then we got to have a part in the graduation party for another former teen, David Byrd - so excited to see the great ways God uses him! This past Saturday we had the honor of officiating the wedding for Megan and Aidan (again, two former teens). Then on this past Sunday, we were honored to be Dillon Street Baptist in Woodbury TN with Pastor Ray Patrick! What a blessing to be with those dear folks! All we can say is God is too good to us to allow us to serve Him!!! #livingthedream

She got ONE shot and now "the potatoes are too heavy" and "my arm will fall off".

Solution? Just kick them inside like a game of soccer. 🤦
