Thank you to everyone who came to the reading of ‘It’s in the Fields’ last night! It’s always such a thrill to hear a play in front of an audience for the first time 🎭 Thank you to all the cast, @meghanbartualsmyth for your wonderful guidance, and the @thehopetheatre for giving me this wonderful opportunity. 🍄

Catch-Up 🏃

So I haven’t done a monthly roundup post since before Edinburgh (wowza) because I’ve been so run off my feet, so before I fully indulge in the festive spirit, here’s a bunch of recent and not so recent pictures of lovely times with lovely people that have yet to see the light of day (and also some that probably have)

Recently I was part of a very special charity event. Amongst an extremely talented line up, I got to perform my own writing with @megcooper__ by my side!

Spring is Coming is an autobiographical piece of theatre about the Tunisian Revolution, the first of many revolutions to come across the Arab world and the start of what is now known as the Arab Spring. What do you do when on a regular Sunday morning your life is turned upside down? The country shuts down, buildings are set ablaze, and you no longer know what or who to believe as the world watches silently with little more than a mild curiosity. You survive, any way you can. Spring is Coming is about politics, identity, resilience and how to find a sense of normal in a very abnormal situation.
