POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Pageant weekend is officially over, and my heart is so full. 🤍 Returning to the Miss Maryland USA stage in the Miss division felt incredibly full circle. This organization is where I first fell in love with pageantry, and coming back years later with a stronger sense of who I am and what I stand for meant so much to me. I’m truly honored to have received the Best Interview Award. As someone who created Shatter the Silence from the parts of my own story I once struggled to speak about, being recognized for my voice was deeply personal. I walked into that room as myself, shared my heart, and spoke about the change I hope to create for survivors. To my coaches, @preparetowin & @crownboundpageantconsulting thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and reminding me to stop overthinking and trust who I am. You helped me walk into interview feeling confident, prepared, and proud of my story. This award belongs to you too. Thank you to @thebronzecollective_ & @julesrinkbynum for making my first-ever spray tan so comfortable and fun, and to @silhouette_dresses for helping me find a beautiful gown when I had to change dresses at the last minute. Thank you to @thepageantbuzz_ for trusting me with the weekend takeover and allowing me to share the behind-the-scenes moments that made this experience so special. To the women I shared the stage with, thank you for the laughs, encouragement, and memories. You made this weekend so much more than a competition. And to every survivor who has ever felt silenced: your story belongs to you, your voice matters, and what happened to you does not get the final word. Best Interview is more than an award to me. It is a reminder that the voice I once had to fight to find is now the very thing carrying my purpose forward
