117 years of sisterhood, scholarship, and service! 💕💚 Today, I’m celebrating Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the powerful role it has played in my career, wellness, and personal growth.

For almost 17 years, I’ve had the honor of celebrating career milestones, graduations, entrepreneurial ventures, and life beyond work—traveling the world, expanding our families, and making meaningful impacts in our communities—all alongside my sorority sisters.

Organizations like AKA don’t just build sisterhood; they create lifelong networks that empower us to lead, grow, and thrive in every area of life. Let’s continue turning purpose into action!

How has being part of a service organization shaped your professional or personal journey? Share below! 👇🏾 🩷💚✨

"Miles may separate us, but our hearts remain intertwined." 💞 This weekend with some of my best girlfriends of 25+ years is just what my heart and soul needed. Thank you @meggles1211 & @mhall1211 for a fabulous and lovely weekend! I loved every second of it and am already looking forward to the next visit!

"You can tell a Spelman woman, but you can't tell her much." Still one of the best decisions I've made. So good to be home!

Welcome to the crew, Azita. Congratulations Anthony & Azita! 💍❤️

It’s always so much fun getting this crew together! These men are amazing husbands, fathers, and providers & they know how to enjoy life!
Plus, they all have bomb ass wives! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

P.S. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous. But, west coast travel with kids is no joke! #lostbags #delayedflights

P.P.S: I (Ellen, not Bakari🙄) will be taking IG applications for the last one standing @robveritas #IYKYK #JK

But seriously, a time was had! ❤️
