One last day in Torino
I’ve never had much time for a photo walk in Turin when we go to @view_conference as there’s so much to see during the conference. This time we left more time to just explore and enjoy this beautiful city.
Massive thanks to @megutierrez.to for organising such a great event year over year!
This trip was with our @londonsiggraph team!
Shot on my trusty @fujifilmuk X100V!

Many thanks to @megutierrez.to and @view_conference for selecting me as one of ten women to receive your inaugural Trailblazer Award; I was honored to accept it in person at your fantastic conference in beautiful Turin. ❤️ I know that Oscar winners always go to In-N-Out, but I decided to start a new tradition for Trailblazer Award winners by taking it to the old 101 Coffee Shop in Hollywood, to celebrate with two of my favorite girlfriends. 🥰🩷🧡❤️

A few things I took home from @view_conference :
1. Award winning shots are part crafty part chemistry, and part creative stubbornness
2. In leadership, resilience isn't about having endless capacity. It's about knowing how to protect what you are.
3. The best industry conversations happen at Jumping Jester.

Thank you to the @vfx_society for giving me two panels to curate, The Alchemy of Award Winning Shots and The Capacity Paradox, the second featuring our Women Who Lead Initiative.
Thanks to @megutierrez.to and the @view_conference team for hosting, and above all to my brilliant panelists! It's rare to share a stage with people you'd also happily share a pizza! 🩷

Today I had the honor of presenting "Beyond Boundaries: Exploring Reality in Limit Exceeded" @view_conference with @habibzargarpour.
The film grows out of the framework of my book, The Disruption of the Circle in Film, Language and other Cocoons — the idea that we live inside a circularity of the familiar, a cocoon of illusion we mistake for reality itself. Limit Exceeded is built to break that circle: not to offer another closed world on the screen, but to open an eccentric circle where the boundaries of what we call real can be questioned, and where the viewer encounters the reflexive "I" rather than simply watching. In the talk, I traced how this transvaluative break shapes the film — its structure, its images, and the way it asks its audience to step beyond the limits they never thought to see.
Thank you to @view_conference, @megutierrez.to for the stage, and to everyone who listened and stayed to talk afterward — those conversations are exactly why this work exists.
