I’ve had some rough Summers the last couple years fighting injury after injury, with bad news on repeat. But this year… Summer be Summer-ing. Shout out to everyone that’s made it a sick one so far. 🤘 #morepuppiesplease😍

Whimsical weddings are the ones guests talk about long after the last dance. The ones that feel playful, immersive and a little unexpected, in all the best ways. M&D’s celebration brought whimsical tropical energy to every corner of the day. Their wedding was a story in colour, layered with custom tropical print stationery and signage, and tables adorned with juicy fruit woven between vibrant florals. Guests enjoyed custom cocktails, cooled off with an ice cream station, snacked at a late-night cereal bar, and gathered around a piñata on the dance floor. Manifesting more of this in the year ahead! It’s been nearly a month since we packed The Rio. This community, Haven’s community, my community, OUR community - shared hugs, laughs and popcorn. I will never get over how much it meant to have so many people I love, all in one place 🥹 My parents met Haven’s family. My Vancouver pals mingled with my trail run pals. A large part of our film crew was there - and Karlo even won a race entry! To celebrate Haven and this sport in such a big way was a dream come true. This was the end of one chapter - but the beginning of something bigger. As Haven so wisely puts it: DO THE SHIT THAT SCARES YOU [insert kazoo blast here 🥳] . Thank you to @communitytrailrunning and @jeannineavelino for fighting to include our film at their Vancouver show. Thank you to the @caprarunning crew for always showing up, whether it’s a rain-soaked trail run or a city film premiere. Thank you to my besties - for sitting through a series of films (about stuff you’re not really interested in) in order to see mine 🥹 Thank you to my parents - for buying me my very own video camera - after I broke yours 🫣 Love love love The pro photos in this post are by @joshuapennock 🙏🏻 Thank you!

2025! In the thick of it, it didn’t feel big. But looking back, it damn well was. I leaned in, did the work, ran the miles, took the meetings, and set the dates. I ran my longest race, produced and directed a documentary, saw polar bears in the wild, sold our condo, and bought a townhouse. 2025 was a year of levelling up. . With all these great things, also come some not-great things. Frustrations and fears. Loneliness and a sense of isolation. To combat this, 2026 will be the start of some open-house work sessions - aiming for a couple times a month. Hit me up if you’re coming through town and want some wifi! . Thankful for the run gang, alpine adventures, gondola dance parties, family hangs, and our moving crew. Onwards!! ❤️

Corporate launch, but make it après ski. We transformed @parkerrooftop into alpine wonderland for this launch, and the vibes were immaculate 👌 Think: cozy-meets-chic après ski styling, signature cocktails inspired by winter escapes, interactive skincare stations, glistening ice sculptures as product displays, a hot cocoa bar, and yes, even a claw machine packed with product (because who doesn’t love a little friendly competition?). From hydration to high spirits, every detail was designed to be playful, memorable, and on-brand. The perfect way to introduce a product that brings the glow all season long. We’re planning ahead for 2026 corporate events and looking forward to bringing big ideas to life, one themed experience at a time. A celebration as bold, colourful, and joy-filled as M+D. Bride @megwhitee, a talented graphic designer we’ve been lucky to collaborate with for over a decade, brought her incredible creativity to her own wedding day. From the lush tropical florals by @ecorce.flowers and outstanding décor by @bespokedecor, to ice cream, a piñata (!!), and a late-night cereal bar, every detail felt playful, personal, and perfectly them. Swipe all the way through for some big time piñata excitement 🪅 Photography @theapartmentphoto Venue @thewallace_venue Decor @bespokedecor @mari_ko @camcaptures_ Florals @ecorce.flowers Planning @smitten_events Catering @railtowncaters Rentals @element_event_solutions DJ @abouttownentertainment Hair + makeup @savethedatebeauty Stationery design @megwhitee . . . . #weddingdecorideas #boldwedding #vancouverwedding #vancouverweddingplanner #northvancouverwedding #smittenevents #smitteneventsweddings

Yes, this wedding was that good. Welcome to Part 2 of T+Q’s wedding. After the ceremony, guests were surprised to learn that dinner would be taking place next door, at the @pipeshop_venue. Led by a shipyards historian, guests strolled through the Shipyards while hearing stories from the area’s past, a nod to the location’s rich history. Inside, long tables lined with fall foliage, candlelight, and monochromatic decor set the stage for a warm, elegant meal under a tunnel of lights. After speeches and a four-course feast, a New Orleans–style second line appeared to lead everyone along the waterfront to the final stop… Planning & Design @devonjdunn @jordanmw @smitten_events Venue @pipeshop_venue Photography @shariandmike Decor @bespokedecor Florals @blossomandvinefloralco Catering @cocktailscanapes Bar @lavishliquid Live Music @colinbullock @musosent Videography @hellotmrw Light tunnel @lighttunnelscanada . . . . #theshipyards #vancouverwedding #northvancouverwedding #vancouverweddingplanner #gaywedding #lgbtqwedding #vancouverevents #vancouvereventplanner #luxuryweddingplanner #smittenevents #smitteneventsweddings

Every couple deserves a ceremony that feels personal, emotional, and beautifully real.
This summer celebration was everything we love about what we do — heartfelt words, laughter, and a love story that shone through every moment. We’re so grateful to have been part of it.
