✨I take artistic freedom to mean allowing your artist to have creative choices over the design, colours and layout. I have a lot of experience with choosing the best colours for your skin tone, choosing a layout that will flow with your body and designing something that will age well on your skin. Not all art/ concepts translate well into the skin and I know how to navigate all of this.
✨Of course I’m okay with you having input on the tattoo. I want to hear all your ideas/ concepts and I will ask your preference on colours, but I generally find that I do some of my best work when I have some creative freedom. If it sounds like it might be outside your comfort zone, keep in mind that we both have the same goal of getting you the best tattoo possible!
✨Yes it’s okay to make changes to the design. Ultimately it’s on your body for forever, so I want you to be really happy with your tattoo. If I design something and there’s an element or two that you’re not stoked about, absolutely speak up and we will make the appropriate changes. I have an iPad and it’s fairly easy to change things. Of course there’s a line when it comes to this though. Once or twice I’ve made changes for a client for 2-3 hours and became uncomfortable with what the design was evolving into to the point where I didn’t feel like it I should go through with the tattoo. I wouldn’t want someone walking around saying “Jillaine did this” and it’s not my best work.
✨Chances are if you like my portfolio and you like the style of tattoos that I do. You will probably love what I design for you 🖤

Please comment any questions you have! Or let me know what you would like my next topic to be about!

Thank you so much @meh_tattoos for the giveaway and for bringing this vision to life 🤯 this witchy/psychedelic tattoo is a spell/activation on my dominant arm to help everything I create/cultivate/administer be dusted with awakening, wisdom, and loads of magic ✨ 👁️ I cannot recommend @meh_tattoos at @inkroom_tattoos_kelowna enough!!! I won this giveaway on New year's Day and I am beyond thrilled (it's been over 15 years since I've gotten tattooed 😂🫣)
