I never really believed in marriage. At least, not in the way I do now.

To decide that you will be there for someone. To build a future together. To keep showing up when life gets complicated. That might be the most romantic thing a person can do.

Because love isn’t just a feeling. It takes discipline, commitment and communication. Qualities that seem harder and harder to find.

Being invited to witness and celebrate love in this way is a privilege. A reminder that, despite everything, people still choose each other.

And every time they do, it heals something in me too.
