Throughout the project, we explored earth as a building material through material based research. We tested its properties, developed building elements, and used them throughout our design process.

As part of the research, we built a 1:1 prototype of a prefabricated rammed-earth column, rammed-earth bricks, a staircase model, and an earth block with hemp insulation.
