🎬Supported my forever-students & their viral sensation “Mechanical Pencil” at On-Set ATL‼️— @on_setatl

My collegiate summers were filled by teaching articulation workshops, focus exercises, and scene study at
Teen Artists Academy at Southwest Arts Center.

Over the years, I was blessed to assist Atlanta legends, Freddie Hendricks, Tom Jones, Maiesha McQueen, and Jade Maia Lambert🎭

🏆Proud is an understatement👏🏽

🌟At the top of the school year, I knew I wanted to share how important dance AND dance teachers are to schools. This was the perfect time to share. And what a better district to start with my former district. I loved teaching dance at North Atlanta HS in APS for 12 years, I graduated from NAHS Center for the Arts in the dance program, and I work closely with the amazing dance teachers and the Fine & Performing Arts DIRECTOR leading professional development. Proud to see this vision come to fruition! Join us in celebrating Atlanta Public Schools amazing dance teachers during Dance In Our Schools Month! 🎉 Watch as we share snippets of the talented students at APS District Dance Day, along with heartfelt interviews with a few our dedicated teachers. Discover why dance is crucial for the whole child and why our teachers are passionate about teaching it. Thank you to SCAD Film & TV Major AND “my” former APS Dance Student Chloe Taylor for capturing BTS and for the amazing edit. Let us know in the comments why you think dance is important! We’d love to hear! #DanceInOurSchools #DanceEducation #WholeChildDevelopment #apsarts 💃🏾✨

Bringing it home on this leap year is Meredith Moore @meisca . It’s that special sauce that Atlanta has provided her with to be able to teach, choreograph, and give back to the community. And it’s all because of the Atlanta Dance Community that paved the way.

Wow what a great month of acknowledging Atlanta’s talented dancers and their rich cultural tapestry.
A whole lesson on its own.

My community, my village, my family, my friends, my teachers, my clients are the foundation that keeps me grounded but also floating higher and higher, reaching up for dreams and goals realized. I am forever GRATEFUL!
