POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Had the honor of assisting Melissa on a mural in grants pass. So very thankful for the opportunity to be apart of this project, to learn so much, and to grow from this experience and hopefully take my art to the next level professionally.

🎨 ART REVEAL 🎨

I am SO excited to show off this AMAZING art piece my friend @mel.ghig did for Heartwrecked, sequel to Heartsmith. When I asked her if she could draw a watercolor portrait of Sasha (who loves all things gothic) and include her pet spider 🕷️Garth, my friend agreed with much enthusiasm. After all, she did serve as inspiration for the character so it seemed most fitting. I told Melissa to have fun with it… and I can tell she did by all the little gothic details she added!

When she showed me the sketch, I was blown away.🤯 I told her she went above and beyond what I imagined. She even included the spooky gossip article Sasha wrote from book 1: its the papers tacked in the background. I just LOVE every detail! Everything encapsulates who Sasha is and how I imagine her so well.🥰

✨ There’s also a little “Easter Egg” I had her include… can anyone find it?😉

Stay tuned for more art reveals and Heartwrecked news: Street Team and ARC signups are coming soon!

🎨 Go check out @mel.ghig’s art! She is an amazing artist with her own unique style.

Today is Loving Day, an annual global celebration held every year to commemorate the landmark 1967 Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia. This historic ruling unanimously struck down anti-miscegenation laws, finally making interracial marriage legal across all United States.

Weathered Light
The desert remembers every storm.
Layers of sandstone, carved by wind and time, catch the last light of day as distant rain drifts across Monument Valley. What drew me to this scene wasn't just the glow on the rock, but the contrast between permanence and change—the ancient stone beneath my feet and the fleeting weather moving through the landscape beyond.
I spent time shaping the light and color to preserve that feeling: warmth against shadow, texture against atmosphere, stillness against motion.
A moment of quiet between sun and storm.

This is the last weekend! The conversations. The process. The moments you can only experience in person.

When the big white tents come down Sunday, March 29, it all becomes memory. Tag someone you need to experience this with 👇

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to visit @lauralee.stay down in Scottsdale, where she has been part of the Celebration of Fine Art show for the past three years. Ironically, I didn’t take a single photo of Laura Lee with her gorgeous work. 🤦‍♀️ What I did get to witness, though, was her selling her pieces like an absolute boss. She is remarkably talented, and I’m so proud to know her and call her friend. It was wonderful, energizing, and incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by so many diverse and talented creators. I spent three days there and still feel like I only scratched the surface of learning about the artists, hearing their stories, and getting completely lost in their work.

*Bonus- I flew out of the Provo airport for the first time and LOVED it, especially the part where the plane circled for its descent right above my house. 😏

Art can be profound.
Titles… not always.

We asked our artists to share the worst title they almost committed to. Turns out inspiration has a draft folder too.

What’s the worst name you’ve ever almost used?

We asked the important questions. Would you rather paint blindfolded… or with oven mitts?

Turns out, artists have opinions. Watch the answers. Then tell us yours. No overthinking. 🎨
