still wondering how this is already over

over the last eight years, practice became the thing i looked forward to every day and the people i've met became some of my most cherished friends. one of the biggest joys of this sport isn't just seeing my own growth, but being able to witness the hard work, growth, and passion of every one of my teammates and getting to cheer them on every step of the way. thank you for leaving me with memories that i'll be holding as close to my heart as i can forever.

running has taught me how to handle adversity, to keep pushing even when the outcomes aren't the ones i hoped to see, and that the most valuable moments aren't the endings or the results, they're the moments that get you there—the tears, the laughter, the sweat and dedication, the family you gain along the way. the fulfillment this sport has brought me could never be replicated anywhere else.

track and field, thank you for everything. leaving with so much love🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

$What an amazing 11 years of being blessed to run track. God has truly gifted me with the ability to run for His glory. I will miss this sport wholeheartedly. Transferring to Shippensburg University was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Last season, I fractured my spine, which forced me to redshirt. But I came back this outdoor season stronger and more grateful than ever. This journey tested my strength, patience, and faith, and reminded me why I love this sport so much. I’m beyond grateful for God, my family, my teammates, coaches, friends, and everyone who supported me through it all. This sport has helped shaped me into the person I am today, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. - Serrano out 🩷$
