POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
SIGNAL FIRST, SENSE LATER.

Yesterday, THE WILD SIGNAL by @saltytrailrunning and @salomon.dach became real.

It started at the HUB with coffee, booklets, slightly nervous faces and that very specific energy of people pretending they had made sound decisions.

No fixed course. No script. Four checkpoints. One final box. Fifty-ish humans drawing their own lines through the Chiemgau Alps, chasing stamps, friends, Kaiserschmarrn, views, shortcuts, bad ideas and the quiet little feeling that this might actually be the point.

Some lines were clean. Some were ambitious. Some looked like a map had sneezed. All of them counted.

And then you came back. Dusty, cooked, smiling, carrying stories that already sounded better than the route choices that created them.

That is what made the day special. Not one fastest line. Not one correct way. But everyone arriving with their own version of the signal, and somehow making it feel like one shared thing.

Huge love to the checkpoint crews for holding the day together out there.

Big thanks to Michi from @baeckerei_brotzeit for breakfast and the pizza that rebuilt civilisation.

The signal is quiet now.

The stories are not.

We’ll do this again 🌀

Postcards from @infinitetrailsrace ⛰️☁️🐮

A race that was completely out of my comfort zone. 21K with 1,900m of elevation gain, in a team with Flo and Mel. Our main goal was simply to have fun 🌟
Honestly: this was my third trail race, I don't have much experience on the trails, and 1,900m is a lot of climbing, especially on a course that's "only" 21km long. Flo and Mel absolutely delivered, and I'm so proud of their performance! Together we finished as the 3rd mixed team.

At first, I wasn't happy with my own performance at all. It felt like they did all the work and I just tagged along. But there are things I can be genuinely proud of: this was the longest and hardest climb I've ever done. I knew the elevation gain would be brutal for me. I did it anyway and never once thought about quitting :)

They left everything on the trail 🥵

Every step, every breath, every ounce of strength.
Through the pain, through the doubt, through the moments when stopping would have been easier they kept moving forward.

adidas Infinite Trails 2026 wasn’t just about the miles.
It was about finding out how far you can go when you refuse to give up 🚀💪🏻

The trail took everything they had.
And they gave it everything in return. 🏔️🔥

Melanie Miklos, @melaniemkls, was the first runner to return to Carezza Lake, after 9 hours and 57 minutes. 56 km and 4,000 metres of climbing in what we call some of the trippiest mountain environments of the Dolomites. She was in good company with Lorenz and Govert, but then picked up the pace on the last stretch and left the gentlemen to fend for themselves.

She came with zero expectations and was looking forward to stepping into something unknown. Thanks for joining the first edition and looking forward to seeing you on the 100 km distance next year!
