Remembering our amazing retreat to Cherry Hills, CA 🍒We were blessed with the most perfect weather and you could have fooled me if you said we were in Italy. What an amazing place @khyrabcranch ☀️🌅🐴🐐🧘 it was a little hard coming home to cloudy weather and no private chef 😆🍓🍑🍊🥑

The art of assisting and adjusting in yoga classes is a nuanced skill for teachers which involves an understanding of pose alignment, body mechanics, energetics, body placement, holding space, and understanding each students’ needs and boundaries. At Darling Yoga, we take a trauma-informed approach with consent cards offered in class so you can let the teacher know if you are open to assists..and you can change your decision on this day to day🌼. The best adjustments transcend words and can be powerful tools to help you feel a pose in a new way. Assisting can help you take a posture further and explore your potential as a yogi 🙌
We just finished our Assisting and Adjusting weekend in yoga teacher training.. part of our 200-hour YTT program. This is a joyous and fun weekend which we always look forward to 💕🙌👯‍♂️🧘
