Had such a lovely time celebrating my birthday (early) yesterday surrounded by so many friends in my favorite setting: a tea party! We got to make use of our backyard as a hosting space, and I truly felt the love of community and friendship! I felt so seen and understood in the best ways and am so grateful to be starting another year celebrating love, community, crafts and hobbies and continuing to get to know myself better! 🍵🫖🥰🥳🐸

Folsom craft fair 2026!!! 💛🐌🥰

Today, I bought my third craft fair snail from @loveuniquemonique and gave @melbroideries her first! Melanie and I got these gorgeous matching pinecone crochet hook sets by @oldguyswoodworking. 🥹 I was also able to buy these awesome banana slug earrings by @n8turalist_glass_, as well as these beautiful pressed flower earrings by @astro_and_sol for our October wedding!! (Also pictured: whimsical wood pieces by RD Woods Natural Wood Art who doesn’t have a website/IG.)

Today’s pumpkins made on @melbroideries’ unofficial “bring your friend to (remote) work day”! 🥰🧶 Today also marks 200 days until @jonathan.mchenry and my wedding!!!! 🎃💜 I’m so proud of myself that I can make two pumpkins in the time it previously took me to make just one, on a good day!

Yarn: Caron Chunky Cakes in “Rainbow Jellys” and Loops & Threads Facets in “Sweet Raspberry” 😋

Yesterday’s photo walk workshop was a vibe.

Thanks to the amazing group of cool people who came out and let me yap at them and then trusted me to lead them through a pretty unorthodox set of stops around @historicfolsom. We all ended the day sweaty and tired, but it was wicked fun and I’ve already seen some amazing photos come out of it.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you photography is hard or that you need a fancy camera. Flip them the bird, put your phone to your face, and take some pictures.

And, as always, many many thanks to @swoonstudioco for letting us use your shop. Thank you for being such a defender of local arts.

It’s been a crafty week and I’ve learned so much thanks to some very skilled friends! Shalina @rummagemill taught us how to make a stained glass piece at @swoonstudioco and Madeline is teaching us how to make a granny square cardigan through a workshop series at @burrowandthread! We’re so lucky to have such amazing artists and teachers here in Folsom. 🥹🫶✨🧶🧵🍄
