Every carbon credit starts with a farmer. Yet for years, farmers have seen little of the value their land generates. Between an African smallholder and the global carbon market sits a chain of up to eight intermediaries — each taking a cut, and each creating more distance between the farmer and the value of their land. Foovante Global built Crevy to change that. A digital MRV platform designed to reduce that chain to just three, bring verification closer to the field, and return more of every carbon credit’s value to African hands.
