A while back, I was asked by @joannajrx if I would join her on her studio networking event in East London. I mean, why would I say no? It was an opportunity for me to network while trying new ideas and hang out with a friend. What I wasn’t expecting was the day to have such a profound positive effect on my mindspace. I love to try new things. To challenge myself to be creative in every photography situation I find myself in. And while this was predominantly a studio shoot, I found myself gravitating towards the larger building and the little nooks and crannies. Leaning on my experience and my inquisitive nature, I found myself working outside the studio. My aim was to give each model something different from the shoot. While I can make the same photo everytime, it is a bigger (and more fun) challenge to do something different each time. Working both inside and outside, I found places of interest. Textures, light and locations really guided me. Attached are a small selection of the pictures we created. There are so many more! I’m grateful to the models for trusting me. But also to Jo for allowing me the space to create. Big love to you all! It was an absolute pleasure getting to mentor this little beauty @meliswilliams2025 recently 💕 from first speaking with her she displayed all the attributes of what it takes to become a professional model and I have no doubt she will achieve that by the end of 2025! Best of luck @meliswilliams2025 🫶
