I’ve been holding back from sharing anything of my first solo piece because no word will ever feel precious enough to capture this experience — or my gratitude towards the beautiful souls who supported me without hesitation but here is a first BTS of TAW‘AM.

I began this physical journey with the intention of grieving the loss of my twin brother — already one of the toughest and most honest things I’ve ever done. But the real shock came when I finally stepped into the studio after all my research and preparation. Ngl — I broke into pieces. Every step, every sequence felt unworthy of my grief for him. Suddenly, my process shifted: I wasn’t just grieving my brother, I was grieving an old version of myself as a dancer. And that was by far the most transformative experience I’ve ever faced.

What saved me was the team around me. The most caring people, who collected me, held me, and created the safest space imaginable.

This post is for them only.
For every single one of you who made this possible.
No word will ever be enough, but from the bottom of my heart: thank you. 🤍

14 countries, 6 continents, 26 cities, over 100 flights - 2024 was the nomad year fr 🛫

Kicked it off with my birthday quarter (three months of birthday celebrations, one for every decade) and stepped into my first year as a full time freelance “creative” (not for the weak I’ll tell you that much 🥲)

grateful for the new experiences (special shout out to Brazil, Senegal and Kazakhstan, countries and communities that changed my life) 💞

Not ready to return to the corporate life just yet, so here’s to 2025 being full of even more adventures (assuming that the Finanzamt doesn’t financially ruin me with my tax bill 🫠)

Closer and closer… In just two weeks my debut album Lavender will finally be yours. I can’t believe we’re here - it’s been such an intense journey, filled with many challenges, moments to rise or fall, obstacles to overcome - but also full of inspiration, self discovery, growth and healing. Happy Friday!! After a month of rehearsals and a pretty stellar soundcheck last night, todays the day myself and @asongforyouberlin debut our live set together at @draaimolen_ festival 🥳

Come see us on the STR/OBE stage, curated by @ki.slash.ki at 16:30 tonight, word on the street is I might even be singing a solo 🫣

Heading back to Berlin on Saturday to keep the community energy going - I’ll be MCing a block party with @laundromatberlin on Stargarder Straße. The event is free, come through ☀️

This is a little appreciation for a project that has enriched the life of many this year. Feeling deeply grateful to be part of such a creative and loving community that constantly creates beauty.
