For the last few years, there was always something next: another competition, another depth, another record.

Without realising it, I had created a set of expectations around being an athlete, and started feeling like I had to keep living up to them.

So I decided to make this my rebel year.

No competitions, no records to chase, no obligation to prove I could go deeper, and see what would happen if I freed myself from my own expectations. Well, it turns out, I still showed up.

Around 275 hours in the water this year: diving, coaching and safetying. I still go deep when I feel like it. My last dive was 80m in 2'30".

But I also made space for everything else: architecture, writing a book, making a documentary, building a life in Nice, and simply living.

And I still love freediving. Maybe even more when there is nothing to prove.

Records and medals are things that happened along the way. They were never supposed to become expectations I had to keep living up to.

If you remove the achievement, do you still love the life that created it?
I do.

First comp of the year after 6 months without diving deep, so I only had one simple goal in mind: have fun!
Just enjoying being back underwater and I definitely love the whole comp vibe: all the laughs, the friends, the hugs, the nervous moments, the celebrations! 🩵
I chose Free Immersion, not my usual discipline, to completely shift my mind away from competition mode, and ended up getting a 🥉 place and a new PB!
Thank you @cipafreediving and all the teams for such a great organization as always. #NAC2026 🫶🏼
And just a week before, I had the pleasure of coaching Amal for her National Record in CNF at the French Freediving Championships. Always love being there to support friends and see them reach their goals.

Moments like these remind me how incredibly lucky I am to be here, surrounded by amazing people, doing what I love, and able to enjoy the ocean every day.
Forever grateful for this life and all that it brings. 🤍🌊

Now, training mode is ON for the next competitions:
- World Apnea 2026 Depth World Championships, in Cyprus, starting end of September. Super happy to be selected as part of the AIDA French team 🇫🇷 @aidafreediving @federationaidafrance
- @deepdominica in one of my favorite places, starting end of November 🇩🇲💚

Let’s go! 🐬

@benedicte_allard @melissa.brml @la.berth  @justinecardinael  @madame.tatami.06  @luccipucci  @below.the.wave  @jeanne.m.vivre  @amal_alnabwany  @anneso_m @petit_farcis_nicois_is_back

4 & 5. BPJEPS reunion at the Paris Dive Show 😍
6. Preparing a Breathwork & Freediving workshop in July in Corsica, with this one. @jo_laurelli DM me if interested! 8 spots and 2 spots already taken!🔥
7 & 8. When freediving meets conservation. Talked about the shark fin trade campaign, 2025 will be crucial to make sure the EU Commission makes the right decision @stopfinningeu @coexistence.crew + a new nomination of Coexistence and a screening in the US
9. Something really cool is coming with @coralguardian & @coexistence.crew. Just can’t wait 💙
10. From Dominica to Paris with this one @enchantedfreedive 🫶🏼
11. Grateful for this awesome community and big thanks to @clementine.freediving for organizing this 🤍
12. Leading a Corporate Breathwork Workshop at my former consulting firm, always moves me when I think I quit my job mid-2022 lost, but with full belief I would find my way through freediving. And now, Oaklen has become my first partner and client. Incorporating breathwork and freediving as tools to manage employees’ emotions & stress levels for them to become better conscious leaders.
13. Starting each day with intention, gratitude & conscious connected breathing to facilitate a state of deep relaxation, heightened awareness and create space for what really matters. Tears of gratitude often come when feeling deeply connected and aligned.
14. Reconnecting to Mother Earth using grounding technique to feel more present even by 5 degrees! 🥶
15. The nicest surprise in Paris, @ol.aboard @deepdominica vibes in the metro! 🤩
16. Making health a priority with yearly checkups. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you! 🙏
17 & 19. Full support to our friends @_ecotalk_ for their first documentary and happy to see this cute face again after 6 months @lejeuneengage 💙 Looking forward our next adventure

@puwa_apnee is my hero 🫶

🎶 And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you'll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you🎶

Merci @solaldiene mais aussi à @clementine.freediving et à tout le reste de la team avec une mention spéciale à @melissa.brml 🫶
