This is the voice of Melissa, from Michigan 🇺🇸, 45 years old, diagnosed at age 36:

🗣️Happiness & Parkinson’s. Can you be happy with Parkinson’s. Absolutely can be. It’s taken me a long time to be here but yes. You can be. Each morning when I wake up, I gibe myself two choices: fear or faith. I know they can’t coexist, so I choose faith and hope in every step I take. Some days are little bit harder than others. You have to push a little bit harder but you can choose that, it’s something I choose. And by nature, I am pretty optimistic, pretty happy person but I’m not paulianna. So I do know that when you have those on days, a lot of social grace, self fashion, self care, self love. To get back up and have that faith and hope in those steps each day. (continues below ⬇️)
