✨ A little fierceness from TRANSITION…✨

We were honored to have the incredible Melissa Befierce join us as our Drag Consultant on TRANSITION, lending her talents, artistry, and unique perspective to our project. 💋👠

But what exactly brought Melissa to TRANSITION in the first place? 👀 Head over to YouTube to find out. Link in bio!

About TRANSITION: Starring Fabian Alomar, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chelsea Rendon, Art Bonilla, Cristina Frías and Chuey Martinez, TRANSITION brings together an ensemble rooted in the culture and lived experiences of Los Angeles. Created/Executive Produced by Victor Barreiro and Created/Written/Directed by Trina Calderón, TRANSITION follows Gabriel Garcia, newly released from prison after serving a three-strike sentence, as he rebuilds his life and reconnects with the family he left behind.

After moving into cookie-cutter Montebello with his artistic mother, Rosa, a former chola, Gabriel is determined to leave gang life in the past. He reunites with his over-achieving family and begins the difficult process of finding his place in a world that has continued without him. But Gabriel’s greatest challenge isn’t adjusting to life after prison. It’s becoming a father again. As he struggles to regain muscle memory on his skateboard, Gabriel confronts an even harder transition: rebuilding his estranged relationship with his son. TRANSITION asks a simple but powerful question: Can you really go home again—and if you can, who will you be when you get there?

Transition. One word. Endless possibilities.

Every change begins somewhere. Every journey has a turning point. And sometimes, the biggest shifts happen where no one expects them. What does transition really mean? 👀 Prepare to look beyond the definition when our short film debuts this Thursday, 10/15 on YouTube! 🎬
