My besties.. until game day that is! 🏈🐦‍⬛

WAIT, YOURE A RAVENS FAN!!? Yes girl. Where have you been?

Here’s the lore:
Kyra was born in Indy, and has always loved football — sometimes I think even more than me lol. So when her parents let her pick her own team, instead of pushing their own on to her like most families, she decided to join the flock.

Tomorrow we are going to the ravens game at the Lucas oil stadium. And I’m super excited. I get to be part of another football first for Kyra and watch our team go against our hometown team for the first time ever in the regular season.

Can’t wait to woooop dat ahhhhhs!

6,000 Followers 🎉✨And all it took was..

7 months of posting everyday
1 year of sobriety
A village

I am so beyond proud of myself for getting closer to my goal of 30k followers, but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of these two people.

Kyra and Melissa have treated my goal like their own and I feel so fortunate to have people like them in my village. And when I hit 6k they got to planning this intentional and thoughtful surprise.

Being sober has brought me so much clarity on the life I’m trying to live and the example I want to lead. With more energy and time devoted to my mental health I’ve had less social battery crashes and more direction in my creative head space.

But really 7 months of posting everyday, committing to this goal and deciding everyday not to break that promise to myself has been key.

I’m so proud of myself yall. I’ve come so far from feeling like I didn’t want to live. 5 years ago I almost decided to give up on life. But WOW am I so glad I didn’t.

The grass is never greener on the other side but is where you water it and I have been pouring into myself like you wouldn’t believe.

So if you have ever thought that life was too hard, take a hard look into the choices that might be contributing to that hardship and then make new choices. Everyday is another opportunity to choose something different for yourself.

Today and everyday I choose me, sober joy, and a collaborative peace.

This year has brought more joy than I could imagine, but that is not to say that it hasn’t also been met with some of the hardest times.

Nonetheless I am taking a moment to give gratitude to a couple of people. This list is not exhaustive by any means but it is what is on my heart as I free write this on a late Monday night.

@sly_moore you opened your home to me when I needed a soft and safe place to land. Thank you for showing us a glimpse into your world this year too!. I still think about how clear that water was on our canoe trip.

@manfa_ann having someone like you in my corner feels like a super power. I’ve never met anyone so kind and also tough. You are such a beautiful human and im lucky to have you as a mentor and friend.

@melissamariess making friends as an adult is hard, but it was so easy with you — it must mean we’re really just long lost family. Thank you for being everything a friend is suppose to be and more.

Alyciah + Lei’ya - showing you the world has been a joy I never knew I needed. Thank you for all the giggles.

The mobile mechanic - when my wheel decide to detach from my truck you were there and conveniently. not sure you did the job 100% right but you did it good enough to the point where my tiny truck gets me from point a to point b and for that im very grateful. Thank you.

@nprihoda1 thank you for the opportunity to work on such a talented team. Can’t wait to make some “cool shit” with yall.

@kyrabeck you know im grateful for you, but just in case you forgot today — thank you bby for always finding a way to make me laugh even on the hardest days and for knowing how to cook. lol and so much more but that’s what’s on my mind tonight.

Okay.. that’s all for now. I’m tired and my fingers are cramping. Like I said this is not at all an exhaustive list, but a few people on my mind this Monday.

Have a great week yall!
