What an unforgettable month at @stepsconservatorynyc !!

This past June, I had the privilege of training at Steps on Broadway, and learning from the most amazing faculty. Thank you @mindydancinjackson for making this experience so amazing in every possible way!

A huge thank you to @nwarrior27 and @mbbandco (and @flannerygregg ) for setting such beautful pieces! Such an honor to work with you🤍

steps summer pt. 1!!!💸💸💸

I made the decision on a whim to apply and the much scarier leap of faith to spend a month in New York! But nothing could have been better🥰

there were so many challenges, so much growth, and so much new confidence that I am feeling even more since coming home. a year ago, trying a ‘new’ style felt like giving up on certain dreams and now I only feel like my performance world is getting bigger and starting to make more sense.

thank you to my showcase cast members who made long days full of fun, laughter, and strength and my fellow dancer dorm residents for our morning conversations on the way to the studio🥰

the program was full of depth with vocal classes, journaling sessions, lots of class, electives, and plenty of time to explore the city. I even got to take class from a cast member of my favorite musical🥹 thank you Mindy for all you made possible for us!!!

thank you to my teachers @conceptpavielle and my family who prepared me so well in physical and mental strength to take on these new challenges💜

first @laducashoes and new @suffolkdance !!!

first day and first rehearsal with Nina!

class with @kmr8787 of my favorite @justintimebway (and now Hadestown) !!!

after ballet with @klo120 🩰

rehearsal day!

Reminiscing over the amazing 3 weeks I had @stepsconservatorynyc ✨!! I’m so happy to have met such kind, beautiful, and talented people and am grateful for the opportunity to learn from so many amazing artists. I absolutely loved working with @ntbad and am so happy we got to bring her vision to life. This program taught me versatility and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’ve grown so much more confident and most importantly, learned what it means to be a human first. Thank you again @stepsonbroadway, I’ll treasure this experience forever!☺️💕
