Front Gallery Artist Martha Apple brings her interpretative paintings of Microbes to @convergence gallery. @melizabethapple says about her work “Microbes with similar appearances, often have vastly different functions, some of which are revealed by staining and microscopes. Here on canvas, the colors and shapes represent beneficial, photosynthetic, and pathogenic microbes, and include depiction of individual cells, colors, suggestive of colonies, and lines, signifying movement via running and tumbling. The micro paintings are an extension of my thoughts on microbes.” Please come and meet the artist in person on October 17 Saturday from 11-2 during our artist reception. 202 west Park street Butte, America.
